Don’t say, “I will get even for this wrong.”
Wait for the LORD to handle the matter.
Proverbs 20:22
Almost every time, my boss points out ways I could have done it better. Consistently my boss is calling out anything that even could be a mistake. When I do things correctly, my boss is silent.
It really bothers me. It bothers me more than it should because I walk on egg shells trying to avoid making any mistakes.
Some days I get angry and desire vengence and some days I shrug it off and just ask Jesus for help.
I’m pretty sure my boss is building a case against me to fire/get rid of me.
How should I deal with this Lord?
I will let God handle the payback, the vengence, settling the score.
In the meantime, I will continue to do my best work. Continue to put one foot in front of the other trusting God to help me, to give me His peace and to fix the situation.
That’s the tough part, taking it on the chin without complaining and without building resentment, without getting angry with God because He hasn’t fixed it yet.
I am also looking for and applying to other jobs. But God hasn’t opened a door yet…
Jesus, please help me endure this trial day in and day out without complaining. Help me not to hate my boss and I ask you to open a door of opportunity to a new, higher paying job that I can excel in to do the work you made me to do.
Perhaps you are in a similar situation at work? Or having a tough time with a relationship in your life. Trust God, and leave it to Him to fix.
Let’s wait for God to handle the matter.
In the meantime, we are learning through pain and suffering to obey and trust our God.
Have a solid Tuesday and expect God to do great things today!
Your brother in Christ,
Dave
